EMERGENCY DROUGHT REGULATIONS
In response to Governor Brown's Executive Order B-29-15 and regulations adopted by the Office of Administrative Law, all urban water suppliers are required to reduce overall water production by a certain percentage, determined by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and in comparison to 2013, and to implement mandatory water restrictions to comply with the Emergency Drought Regulations or be subject to large fines.
The SWRCB has placed the Twentynine Palms Water District into conservation goal Tier 7 that requires a 28% reduction in overall potable water produced. To comply with the regulations and to help the District meet the conservation goal of 28%, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution 15-07 setting forth mandatory water restrictions as indicated below:
Please help the Twentynine Palms Water District meet this conservation goal by following the water restrictions and to save water wherever possible. To report water waste, call the District office at (760) 367-7546.
